This is a diagnostic based on entity type, turnover and registrations alone. Sector rules, state-level professional tax and one-off events can add obligations, and this list is not exhaustive. Send us your result and a Chartered Accountant will confirm it against your actual books.

About this tool

Questions we get asked.

01

Where do these obligations, forms and due dates come from?

From 31stFile's own compliance rule set, maintained by the firm's Chartered Accountants. Nothing on this page is generated automatically, and no due date appears here that has not been reviewed.

02

Is this every filing my business has to make?

No. It covers 34 obligations across income tax, GST, TDS, ROC, payroll, audit and SEBI. Sector-specific requirements, state-by-state professional tax variations and event-driven filings are not included, so treat the result as a starting point rather than a complete list.

03

Why does it ask for a turnover band instead of an exact figure?

Because the thresholds are tested against bands. If your turnover sits close to the edge of a band, that is exactly the situation worth confirming with us rather than reading off a tool.

04

Does this replace advice from a Chartered Accountant?

No. It tells you which obligations generally apply to a business of your type and size. It does not know your facts, your history, or anything already overdue, and it cannot tell you what to do about any of those.

05

Do I need an account, and is the result private?

No account, no login and no sign-up. Your answers are held in the page address only, which means you can bookmark or share a result — and it also means you should not treat that link as confidential.

06

Can I send the result to you?

Yes. Copy the address of your result page into an enquiry and a Chartered Accountant will confirm it against your actual books and registrations, at no cost.
